Monique Fowler
Internet Marketing Assistant
In addition to being the resident ROCK STAR, I am the Internet Marketing Assistant of The Schmidt Group, which in a small agency means I do a little bit of everything. In addition to assisting the Internet Marketing Manager with pay per click, pay per acquisition and paid search campaigns, I also assist with all types of media buys. I have become The Schmidt Group SEO expert and take a master at negotiation - never met a rate I couldn't shrink!
I was a Theatre major at the New World School for the Arts before attending & graduating from Howard University in 2004 where I studied Broadcast Journalism & Theatre. My first job in FL was at WMBM as the Special Programs Producer. I produced the afternoon talk shows, afternoon news, recorded and edited all talk shows for re-sale, organized remote broadcasts, produced and hosted my own evening show called Community Time Out.
I am an avid reader of both non fiction & fiction and a huge film buff, I have an extensive collection of diverse movies - more than 300 in my collection that range form The Color Purple to Hello Dolly; American Beauty to Rent. I believe strength comes from within and that when you believe in yourself, the goals you set - no matter what they are can be achieved. I believe I am destined for greatness. I was designed to be a star. If determination & hard work will get me there - Watch Out - here I come!
Outside of work I am a "Rock Star" of course. During my time away from the office I specialize in all night parties, live performances with my banjo, and the usual "Rock Star" stuff. I must admit my fans love me!

Favorite Quotes:
1. "What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us."
-Ralph Waldo Emmerson
2. "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
-Quoted by Nelson Mandela in his 1994 Inaugural Speech
-Author Marianne Williamson
