Internet Marketing Manager

I am the Internet Marketing Manager at The Schmidt Group where I am the king of paid search campaigns, managing all aspects of paid search from keywords to reporting. I also manage all streaming video, banner and rich media campaigns as well as The Schmidt Group national & local online networks. Driven by innate ROI and the determination to do whatever I do the best that it can be done, I maintain an unwavering goal of making clients as happy as possible with their advertising campaigns.

Originally from Ord, Nebraska, I grew up on a large cattle & corn farm where I from a very early age the value of hard work and cultivated my uncompromising work ethic. Leaving the tractors and the cattle behind, I attended and graduated University of Nebraska with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing.

I am huge Broadway buff - love both theatre and musicals, I got a taste of 'show-biz' spending my college summers as a singer/dancer in theme park musicals. I loved the biz - but didn't so much love the camera, hence, I became a TV news producer. I began my career in the News industry as it gave me a little show business and definitely no camera time. Prior to joining The Schmidt Group , I spent 12 years in News starting at KOLN TV in Nebraska before moving to larger markets like KNTV in San Francisco before relocating to South Florida where I worked in Palm Beach & Miami. Unlike many, I actually get to apply my education in my career.

I have a wicked sense of humor and appreciate this trait in the people I surround myself with. I believe in treating people the way I would want to be treated, with fairness, honesty, respect and both constructive criticism and praise when either is called for. I love books, music and am a bit of tech addict, I love computer gaming & sci fi (yes, I'm a HUGE Trekkie).

Duh... Star Trek. All 5 series. Battlestar Galactica is a very close second.

"Corey Cutie" Called that by my frat brothers, because a lot of the girls seemed to like me.
